Olympic wrestler to speak at Ontario church

The public is invited to hear Olympic wrestler Ben Peterson speak at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Ontario at 7 p.m. Sunday, April 7.

From northern Wisconsin, Peterson won a gold medal in the 1972 Olympics and a silver medal in the 1976 Olympics, plus he was on the 1980 Olympic wrestling team.

Pastor Mike Gjefle of Faith Independent Baptist Church said, “Ben is still excited about the sport of wrestling, young people, and especially his faith in Jesus Christ.”
