Norwalk Public Library to host eclipse party

The Norwalk Public Library will have an eclipse party from 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21, when Americans in the continental U.S. will experience a total eclipse of the sun for the first time since 1979.

    Buggy driver victim of hit-and-run crash on Highway 33

    The driver of an Amish buggy was knocked unconscious in a hit-and-run collision with a tanker truck on Highway 33 in the town of Jefferson on Nov. 16, according to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

    Phyllis C. Granger, 93, of Viroqua and formerly of the Hillsboro and Kendall areas passed away Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at the Bethel Home in Viroqua.

    Charles “Chuck” J. McDonald, 87, of St. Mary’s Ridge, Cashton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
