The Norwalk Public Library has a new novel, “Lacy Eye” by Jessica Treadway.

The mystery-book group’s next meeting will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, when we’ll discuss Dorothy Gilman’s “The Elusive Mrs. Pollifax,” the third book in the “Mrs. Pollifax” mystery series.

Musicals will be shown from 4–6 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays through the end of August. “The Unsinkable Molly Brown” will be shown Friday, July 27.

Please donate gift baskets to the Norwalk Public Library Board’s fundraiser during the Norwalk Lions Club’s tractor pull in mid-August. We do have room to store the gift baskets on the top of our bookshelves until August. So far, I am working on assembling three gift baskets from the library staff. Stop in and see what we’ve assembled so far. Nine gift baskets had been donated as of July 20.
