The Norwalk Public Library has two new items: 1) A DVD, “Longmire: The Sixth and Final Season,” starring Robert Taylor, Katee Sackhoff and Lou Diamond Phillips; and 2) a novel, “Long Road to Mercy: An Atlee Pine Thriller” by David Baldacci.

The mystery-book group will meet from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, to discuss Dorothy Gilman’s “Mrs. Pollifax and the Hong Kong Buddha,” the seventh book in the “Mrs. Pollifax” mystery series.
