N-O-W selects artists of the month

The following were named artists of the month for November at Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton Elementary School:

Art teacher Jamie Steinmetz’s classes— 1) First-grader Molly Hansen made a pinch-pot creature out of clay; 2) third-grader Caelin Calkins painted a silhouette on a tinted background; 3) fourth-grader Gavin Kinserdahl made a plaster mask; 4) fifth-grader Payne Clark made a clay tractor; and 5) sixth-grader Kylea Brueggeman made a non-objective print.

Art teacher Patricia Holte’s classes— Students in Tracy Clark’s second-grade class made ceramic fish using the double pinch-pot method: Annagale Rueckheim, Ruby Muehlenkamp, Jackson Finley, Owen Wang, Elisha Hadley, Paige Buchen, Laila Welter, Devin Schaitel, Gavin Havlik, Gracin Stebbins, Toby Eness, Jillian Fawley and Austin Freed.
