Moore rushes for career-high 136 yards

Christian Moore, a sophomore fullback, rushed for a career-high 136 yards on 15 carries during Luther’s 49­-21 victory over Grinnell College on Sept. 20.

Moore, a 2013 graduate of Royall High School graduate, is the son of Ken and Barb Moore of Kendall.

Moore posted touchdown runs of 47 yards and five yards.

As a team, the Norse offensive unit tied a single-game school rushing record with 579 yards. The record was set in 1963. The victory gives Luther an overall record of 3-0, its best start since 1987.

Luther College is a four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America and is located in Decorah, Iowa.
