Misty Valley Thrift Store opens in former Kendall school

Now open in the lower level of the former Kendall Elementary School building, Misty Valley Thrift Store had its first day of business April 4.  

Jennifer Seidler of Kendall is the person behind thisnew venture and has a wide variety of items for sale, such as jewelry, adult’s and children’s clothing (including baby clothes), household items, furniture and more. 

In addition, there will be several other vendor booths selling a variety of merchandise. 

Misty Valley Thrift Store also will be the new site of the Kendall Food Pantry, which has been located in the Painted Pony store. The Kendall Food Pantry will be open on Fridays during store hours.  

The handicapped accessible store will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Donations will be accepted every day that the store is open. All items must be clean and in working condition. 

A list of items they do not accept is available at the store.
