Mary Lynn (Grant) Strait, 76, of Monroe, Wis., formerly of Ontario, Wis., passed away peacefully Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Mary Lynn graduated from Ontario High School in 1960. She married Roger Strait of La Farge on Oct. 14, 1961, and to this union two sons were born, Todd Strait of Missouri and Troy Strait of Illinois. They farmed for several years in rural La Farge before moving to Monroe. She drove semi for several years for her son, Todd, and worked at Walmart in Monroe.

She is survived by her former husband, Roger Strait of Monroe; two sons, Todd Strait of Missouri and Troy Strait of Rockford, Ill.; one grandson, Dustin (Justina) Strait of Monroe; five great-grandchildren of Monroe; one sister, Margie Dull of Boscobel, Wis.; one brother, Paul (Debbie) Grant of Viroqua; one brother-in-law, David Strait of La Farge; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Mary Lynn was proceeded in death by her parents, Roy and Eva Grant of Ontario; her in-laws, Bob and Mary Strait of La Farge; a brother-in-law, Phil Strait of La Farge; a sister-in-law, Janeen Strait of La Farge; a brother-in-law, Duane (Wayne) Dull of Boscobel; and one granddaughter, Ashley Strait of Monroe.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
