Logan Riley Ferries, 17, of Norwalk died Sunday, May 21, 2017, as a result of a hunting accident. He was born May 11, 2000, to Jeff Ferries and Diana Ferguson. 

Logan was an avid outdoorsman who loved spending time with friends. He attended Brookwood High School, where he was a member of the FFA and the wrestling and football teams. He was always up for a good time and had fun doing the “Hug A Pig” competition at the Monroe County Fair. Logan will always be remembered for his free spirit, thirst for adventure and big stories. 

Logan is survived by his parents, Jeff Ferries and Diana Ferguson; his twin brother, Chase Ferries; his brothers, Mike (Sara) Ferguson, Luke (Kristi) Ferries, and Josh (Gracie) Ferries; his sisters, Tammy Ferguson and Cassie (Jimmy) Miller; his grandmothers, Alice Ferries and Frances Hansen; as well as many other relative and friends.

Logan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Ferries and Henry Hansen. 

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, at the Mount Pisgah Wesleyan Church in Ontario. Pastor Bob Streeter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hilltop Rest Cemetery in Ontario. 

Family and friends are invited for visitation from 4–8 p.m. Wednesday, May 24, at Mount Pisgah Wesleyan Church and again Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences are available at www.torkelsonfuneralhome.com
