Letter to the editor: Local columnist could be added to County Line

By LARRY BALLWAHN | Wilton

Though obviously I can’t speak for the County Line, I believe there is room for an additional regular columnist in the paper if someone is interested. A high school classmate of mine, who lives in California, says she HAS to read my book reviews because there is not someone who writes about Wilton area activities; i.e., Alice Brandau (way to make a guy feel appreciated). I suspect that if someone is interested, they could put their own twist on the column and it wouldn’t have to be confined to neighborhood reporting.

Editor’s note: Anyone interested in Ballwahn’s proposal may contact the County Line at [email protected] or 337-4232.

  • Letter to the editor: How can Norwalk develop a progressive, forward-thinking attitude?

In response to the article “Arguing in Norwalk …” in the Nov. 21 issue, I would like to voice a few concerns and add a few comments to the mix. I have stopped attending Norwalk’s monthly meetings for just that purpose. The arguing, swearing and lack of professionalism is counterproductive to our failing village.

Letter to the editor: Racism, prejudice need to be addressed

I am writing today regarding racism. With the march to the border, new immigration policies, and a pointless wall on the border, I feel it needs to be addressed.
