Kyle F. Russell, 21, of Norwalk passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 2, 2012, at Mayo Healthcare Center in Sparta.

He was born Aug. 24, 1990, to Johnny Ray Clemons and Barb Griffith in Mauston. He attended Westby High School and Brookwood High School and was a member of the cross country and track teams. He joined the Wisconsin National Guard in July 2010.

Kyle was united in marriage to Amanda “Mandi” Wickersheim on Nov. 6, 2010, in Ontario. He was proud to be a dad to Andrew and Nola and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Kyle is survived by his wife, Mandi of Norwalk; his son, Andrew Russell; his mother, Barb (Larry) Griffith of Westby; his stepdaughter, Nola Trujillo; his grandparents, Pat and Tom Pieterek, Fred Russell and Johnny Ray Westmoreland; and his siblings, Brandi, Dustin, Patricia, Crystal, Larry and Isaac. He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ray, and his grandmother, Celia Russell.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 6, at Faith Independent Baptist Church in Ontario. Pastor Michael Gjefle will officiate. Burial will follow in Potters Cemetery, Highway 58, in the town of Summit, rural Mauston.

Family and friends are invited for visitation at the church from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 5, and one hour prior to services Friday.
