As part of its Driftless Dialogue series, the Kickapoo Valley Reserve will offer “Why Driftless?” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21, at the KVR Visitor Center, Highway 131 north of La Farge.

Lucas Zoet, an assistant professor of glaciology and glacial geomorphology, will lead a presentation on the geology that lies beneath the Driftless area.

Sponsored by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation (Nuzum) Fund and the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the program is free and open to the public.
