KVR local history program set for Wednesday, March 21

The Kickapoo Valley Reserve will host the next installment in its Ralph Nuzum Lecture Series, “Brad’s Last Dam Talk,” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, at the KVR visitor center, north of La Farge on Highway 131.

Brad Steinmetz of La Farge will give the second half of his presentation on Kickapoo Valley history, discussing the La Farge dam project and the creation of the Kickapoo Valley Reserve. (For more on the history, see kvr.state.wi.us/About-Us/History/La-Farge-Dam-Project/.)

Sponsored by the Kickapoo Valley Reforestation (Nuzum) Fund and the University of Wisconsin-Madison College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the program will be free and open to the public.
