The Kickapoo Teen Drop-In will hold its monthly event from 3–6 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

For May only, it will be at Wildcat Mountain State Park near Ontario. The drop-in is a free initiative for teens throughout the region featuring hands-on learning with community members, opportunities for ongoing mentoring, meals and music. It is created and sponsored by community members and organizations.

This month’s program will include a nature craft and a hike with naturalist and ranger Jayne Collins, followed by an outdoor cooked meal.

The next drop-in will be Sunday, June 12, at the Ontario Community Garden for garden lore and learning.

Those interested in creating and sustaining this program or those with questions may call 337-4444.
