Save the date for another good murder-mystery dinner play in Kendall: the performance will be at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16.

This is the annual one-night comedy brought to you by the Kendall Area Arts and Culture Organization’s Colors of Kendall group. This year’s production is “The Murder at the Class Reunion,” starring many of the regular local actors and some new talent. Meet characters such as Steven Sprocket (Ken Brandau), Sissy Sweetspirit (Karen Arzt) and Conchita Bonita (Melissa Greenwell), all of who make the most of the reunion atmosphere.

The show is appropriate for adult audiences. Bring your pompons and letter jacket if you want, but be sure to bring your own lawn chair.

The action begins promptly at 6 p.m. in the outdoor Roundhouse Park, behind the Kendall Fastrip, by the Brandau Sale Barn.

For the $15 ticket, each attendee is provided a beverage suitable for a class reunion, hors d’oeuvres, a picnic-style entrée and dessert. Plus you get a chance to use your detective skills to guess who is the murderer.

Tickets are available in Kendall at the Hillsboro Farmer’s Co-op, the Kendall Public Library and the Fastrip, as well as from actors and KAACO volunteers.
