Juneau County has first Covid-19 death

 

Juneau County’s first death to Covid-19 was reported on Sunday.

The patient was hospitalized prior to his or her passing and was in his or her 90s, according to the Juneau County Health Department. Juneau County now has six confirmed cases ranging in age from 30s to 90s.

“Our team sends our deepest condolences to this individual’s friends and family,” said Amanda Dederich, Juneau County health officer. “It is so important for our community to come together and double down on strategies to prevent the spread of this deadly virus.”
