A chess club meets on the second and fourth Thursday of every month. Any level of player is welcome. Just come and play.

The library has a St. Patrick’s Day basket raffle. The basket is filled with a variety of fun St Patrick’s goodies. Purchase your raffle lines at the library or on Wednesday night at bingo at The Place. The drawing will be Wednesday, March 16, at 7 p.m.

The “Snow Place Like Home” winter reading program runs from Jan. 17 through March 19. Read or listen to 10 books, fill out a review on each book, and receive your winter reading mug.

The Norwalk Public Library mystery-book group meets the first Saturday of every month. A discussion about “A Northern Lake Mystery: Bough Cutter” by Jeff Nania will take place at 10:30 a.m. Copies are available at the circulation desk.
