Stepping Stones 4-H Club reporter
President Erica Murray called the Stepping Stones 4-H meeting to order on March 11 at Thunder Alleys in Kendall.
Nick Murray led the pledges; Brandon Skolos, the secretary’s report; and McKenzie Skolos, the treasurer’s report. Vice-President Allison Kolodzinski updated the calendar.
Old business
• The rabies clinic was once again a success. Forty-six animals were vaccinated at the rabies clinic.
• The Fur, Fin, and Feather Show will be Saturday, April 14, at the Barney Center in Sparta. Check the Cloverlink for more details. The club voted to make a donation to the Fur, Fin and Feather show.
• The community service/roadside pickup with the Kendall Lions Club will be Tuesday, April 17. Members should meet at the Kendall Community Hall at 6 p.m.
New business
• Amy Steies is the new interim 4-H Agent for Monroe County.
• A junior-leader meeting will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Thunder Alleys.
• Monroe County Fair is asking for donations from clubs and individuals for $150 that would be used to purchase new cattle gates. This item of business was tabled until the next meeting.
The next meeting will be at 4 p.m. April 15, at the Royall Intermediate School Instructional Media Center.
The meeting was adjourned, and members partook in a few games of bowling.
