Vernon Memorial Hospital in Viroqua will offer a free class designed to help those with movement disorders in April.
The class is geared to those who suffer from one of the following diagnoses or problems: Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, stiff man’s disease, balance problems and frequent falls.
LSVT (Lee Silverman Voice Treatment) BIG and LOUD is a specialized treatment used by Vernon Memorial Healthcare certified therapists to treat patients who have Parkinson’s disease or other movement disorders.
Vernon Memorial Healthcare Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy will offer the class from 1–2 p.m. on April 6, April 8 and April 10 at the VMH Wellness Center.
