Royall Battle of the Books

Royall Intermediate School students participated in the Battle of the Books sponsored by the Mississippi Valley Gifted and Talented Network in Tomah on March 5. Royall had two teams that participated with other fourth- and fifth-graders in the event. Royall Team 1 tied for first place with two other teams. Royall Team 2 took fourth place in the event. Each team member read books from a list of 20 titles this year. He or she was asked questions from the various books to gain points. Royall Team 1 had 390 points, and Royall Team 2 had 375 points.
