Hannah Marie Semann, 4-month-old daughter of Chris and Nichole (Benusa) Semann, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014, at the Gundersen Health Center in La Crosse, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with a heart disorder.

In her short time with us, Hannah brightened many days. Her smile and determination will forever be remembered.

She is survived by her parents, Chris and Nichole; a loving sister, Mariah Semann; her grandparents, Dennis and Mary Jo Benusa and Robert and Kathie Semann; her great-grandparents, Marian Semann and Coryl Brieske; her uncles and aunts, Scott (Lena) Semann, Lynn (Tracy) Semann, Connie (Todd) Buchholz, Nicole Semann, Erin (Dan) Kujak and Becky (Craig) Sandbulte; her cousins, Marcus Semann, Kaelyn and Ryan Buchholz, Evan, Isaac and Ava Kujak, and Annika and Alayna Sandbulte; and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by several great-grandparents.

Hannah’s family would like to thank the staff of Gundersen Health Center in La Crosse and the Children’s Hospital in Madison for the wonderful care given to her.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Church in Tomah. Monsignor Richard Gilles will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery on Summit Ridge. Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
