Forget about the orange. Think red and green! The Ontario Community Club is getting ready for another Old-Fashioned Christmas, an event set for Saturday, Dec. 13, at the Ontario Community Hall.

But before that big day, there are a few things you can do to get ready for the event. Pick up an entry blank at the Bank of Ontario, Milk Jug Café, Marcella's Child or the Ontario Public Library. Businesses and families are invited to decorate a tree in their yards. The trees will be judged and prizes will be awarded Friday, Dec. 12.

Buy a love light. They also are available at the above named places and can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one. The names will be read at Old-Fashioned Christmas, prior to the evening concert.

The gingerbread house contest also will have a return engagement. Bring your entry on the day of the celebration.

New this year will be a Santa Shop, where little ones can buy gifts for family members for just a quarter apiece. Ontario Public Library Knit Wits members will be on hand to do the wrapping.
