Wednesday, Sept. 22: Linda Eddy of Westby entered the intersection of Esofea and Natwick roads in the town of Jefferson and struck the rear driver’s side of a vehicle driven by Richard Stinson of Westby. The Stinson vehicle went sideways and overturned into the ditch, causing injuries to both the driver and the passenger.

Saturday, Sept. 27: Kenneth Kaus of Norwalk was backing onto State Street in Ontario when Edith Marshall of Hillsboro came around the corner and struck the rear of the Kaus vehicle. No injuries were reported.

Saturday, Sept. 27: A burglary occurred on Ridge Road in the town of Hillsboro. Among the stolen items were silver coins, silver dollars and 50-cent pieces, along with miscellaneous jewelry, two chainsaws, two Rolex watches, and numerous guns. Also, some personal property was destroyed.
