The Elroy Public Library is entering week three of its summer reading adventure. This week we will splash in the Elroy Pool and maybe out in the library’s yard. Who knows what is in store for our readers?
Our Tuesday Teens are busy creating book jackets and lists of secret favorite books. They will read “Princess Diaries” this week and see the movie next week. What other book/movie choices are you interested in, kids?
Lunch Bunch and activities are going strong; they’re playing balloon ping-pong and memory games (What’s in Your Tummy?), just to mention a few.
We are starting to get bingo in both kids’ and adults’ groups. The grownups get $5 punch cards to pay for copies or library fines. The kids prowl through the bingo box for their treasures. And our Lego City is growing as kids record their reading times and add to the buildings. Lots of cantilevered construction is going on. Come in and see.
