Royall Elementary School kindergarten teacher Kelsey Matherne, shown here with her class, was the recipient of a $500 award as part a Tools for Schools program. SSE Music, Brenengen Auto and WXOW 19 presented the check to Matherne on May 29. Funds will be used to update and provide new materials for independent-study skill buckets used by all the kindergarten classes.
