New DVDs available at Norwalk Public Library

The Norwalk Public Library has new children’s DVDs:

• “Hop,” starring Russell Brand, James Marsden, Elizabeth Perkins, Hank Azaria, Kaley Cuoco and Hugh Laurie

• “The Secret World of Arrietty,” voices by Bridgit Mendler, David Henrie, Amy Poehler, Will Arnett, Moises Arias and Carol Burnett

• “Where the Wild Things Are,” starring Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Lauren Ambrose, Chris Cooper, James Gandolfini, Catherine O’Hara and Forest Whitaker

The summer reading program “Dream Big, Read!” ended July 13. Corriene Cameron read the most hours at 169.167, and Ashlyn Osmond took second at 121.15 hours; and Marjorie Cameron, third at 60.417 hours.

The mystery-book group will meet from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 3, to discuss Lee Goldberg’s “Mr. Monk Goes to Hawaii,” the second book in the “Monk” series.
