    The student artist of the month at the Elroy Public Library is Kayla Gruen.  A seventh-grader, she created this piece of art called “Jordy Nelson.”

    Nerison, Shilling to attend KVR meeting

    In light of Gov. Scott Walker’s proposal to transfer Kickapoo Valley Reserve management from the Department of Tourism to the Department of Natural Resources, state Rep. Lee Nerison and state Sen. Jennifer Shilling will meet with the KVR management board at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19.

    Reluctantly, Ontario Village Board grants Fastrip a license to sell hard liquor

    It took some debate and two votes Monday at the Ontario Village Board meeting, but in the end United Cooperative (Fastrip) was granted a license to sell hard liquor.
