Cedric R. Fitch Sr.

Cedric R. Fitch Sr., 76, of rural Hillsboro passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at his home, with his family.

He was born March 28, 1938, to Max and Berneice (Brey) Fitch in Hillsboro. He graduated from Hillsboro High School. After graduation, he went to work in Milwaukee, later moving back to Hillsboro to farm.

Cedric was united in marriage to Myrtle Allen on Dec. 31, 1966, in Ohio. He worked at Badger Ordnance and Hillsboro Cement. The last 20 years, he was a truck driver, until he retired three years ago.

He enjoyed taking long drives with his wife, going out to eat, visiting with friends and family and playing with the grandchildren.

    Marilyn Woolever

    Marilyn Woolever, 80, of Kendall died May 16, 2014, at Gundersen St. Joseph’s in Hillsboro.

    She was born to Harry and Rebecca (Garrett) Newman on May 23, 1933, in Ellison Bay, Wis. She spent her high school years at the Wittenberg Children’s Home and then went on to receive her associate’s degree from the Waldorf College as a secretary. She worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs – Tomah until her retirement.

    Frederick “Fritz” Luethe

    Frederick “Fritz” Luethe, 87, of Norwalk passed away Friday, May 16, 2014, at the Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta.

    He was born May 7, 1927, on the family farm located outside of Norwalk, in the town of Ridgeville, to Werner and Alma (Arndt) Luethe. He married Doris Seekamp in June 1952. Together they raised their four children on the same land that Fritz was born and raised on.

    Ruth Elizabeth (Falke) Vieregge, 96, of Norwalk passed away at Rolling Hills Rehab Center in Sparta on Friday, May 16, 2014.

    Ruth was born June 27, 1917, to Franklin Edward and Martha Caroline (Schuele) Falke on the home farm in Spring Valley, Wis. She was united in marriage to Orland Ardean Vieregge, and together they farmed on the family farm outside Norwalk.
