Eva C. Feige, 82, of Wilton died Sunday, May 19, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born Sept. 18, 1930, to Willi and Anna (Lamprecht) Schulz in Berlin, Germany. On Dec. 24, 1952, Eva was united in marriage to Gerhard P. Feige in Berlin. He preceded her in death March 5, 2008.
Eva and Gerhard lived in the Chicago area for many years, relocating to the Wilton in 1991 to be closer to their daughter and family. Eva worked as a dressmaker for Wilson Garments in Chicago for more than 17 years. She was a talented seamstress and would make clothing for herself and her family.
She was a faithful and devoted member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church
Doris Adeline Helgren, 89, of Norwalk died Thursday, May 16, 2013, at the Serenity House in Tomah, with her family at her side.
She was born to Arnt and Signe (Hemstead) Hagen on Aug. 7, 1923, in the town of Whitestown, Vernon County. She grew up on a farm located in Indian Creek, among a farming community of many Norwegian relatives.

Verlyn Gaylord Krause, 83, of Tomah died Wednesday, May 8, 2013, with his family by his side at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem.
He was born May 22, 1929, to John and Irma (Sonnenburg) Krause in the town of Wellington. He was united in marriage to Eileen Simonson on Aug. 1, 1953, by Rev. C.E. Norman W. Thurow, 88, of Sparta and formerly of Milwaukee and Grafton, Wis., died peacefully in his sleep April 20, 2013, at Morrow Memorial Home.
He was born Dec. 30, 1924, to Anna (Schram) and Henry Thurow. He was baptized at Zebaoth Lutheran and confirmed into the Christian faith at Immanuel Lutheran in Milwaukee.
After graduating from Rufus King High School, Norman served his country as a radio operator in the Army Air Corps.
Diana L. Ryburn, 66, passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at her daughter’s residence in Oregon, Wis.
The daughter of Max and Helen (Hutchens) Downing, she was born Jan. 21, 1947, in Hillsboro. Diana attended and graduated from Hinkley High School in Illinois in 1965. She worked for the phone company and First National Bank for a number of years. Diana went to work for the U.S. Postal Service in the late 1980s and retired as a rural carrier in 2010.
Ellen J. Oldenburg, 93, of Sparta and formerly of Norwalk went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at the Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta.
Ellen was born in the village of Merrillan, Wis., on Jan. 18, 1920, to Rev. Oscar and Selma Hovland. She married Harold W. Oldenburg in the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Norwalk on June 6, 1947. To this union, three children were born.
Ardella M. Wallerman, 90, of Norwalk left her earthly home to meet her Savior on Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Tomah Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born April 23, 1922, to Arthur and Emma (Kortbein) Garske in the town of Ridgeville. She was baptized April 26, 1922, and confirmed April 21, 1935, St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridgeville. William Raphael Janolis, 87, was born near Wilton in November 1925 and died Thursday, March 28, 2013, near Morro Bay, Calif.
His parents were Felix and Amelia (Dzekunskas) Janolis, and he was the youngest of seven children. Uncle Bill attended Wilton High School and subsequently farmed with his parents on South Ridge, near Kendall. Throughout his entire life, right up until the end, he always remembered his dear friends from the Kendall area.

Gary L. Schultz, 66, of Elroy and formerly of Kendall died Thursday, April 18, 2013, at his home.
He was born Nov. 9, 1946, to Glenn and Mildred (Grawin) Schultz in the town of Wellington. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. He was a member of Royall High School graduating class of 1964.
He was united in marriage to Alona Jacobson in 1974 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wilton. He was later united in marriage Vicki Schulz.
Tina (Christina) Maria Calhoun, 91, of Ontario passed away at the Morrow Memorial Home in Sparta on Saturday, March 23, 2013.
Tina was born Oct. 8, 1921, to Salvadore (Sam) and Concetta (Iaia) Sortino in Nebraska. She was raised by her father and stepmother, Concetta Filia, after her birth mother passed away after birthing Tina.
She lived in Omaha, Neb., in her youth, and when she married James Calhoun, they moved to Ontario.
