Margaret Mae Anderson

Margaret Mae Anderson, 79, of Wilton went home to her Lord on Monday, July 28, 2014.

She was born Sept. 22, 1934, near Hillsboro to Joseph F. and Myrtle M. (Crouch) Norwalk. She grew up in Hillsboro and was a 1952 graduate of Hillsboro High School. 

On Feb. 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to Norman W. (Andy) Anderson and moved to the Anderson family farm just outside of Wilton, where she would make her home for the next 39 years. In 1992, she and her husband moved to the village of Wilton, where she resided at the time of her death.

After spending the first few years of her married life as a stay-at-home mom, she began a 35-year career in the Royall School

    Ardyce Jean Peterson of Middleton, Wis., passed away at home Sunday, July 13, 2014.

    The daughter of Kenneth and Alice Rich, she was born Dec. 6, 1935. She married her sweetheart, Alvie “Al” Peterson, on Aug. 28, 1954. For many years, Ardyce worked for Mid-Plains Telephone, where she met her best friend for life, “Lucy” Reisinger. Ardyce was a wonderful and loving wife, mom, grandma, and great-grandma.

    Phyllis E. Baltz, 83, of Mauston and formerly of Clifton died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Fairview Nursing Home in Mauston.

    She was born June 2, 1931, to Harry and Laura (Bredlow) Budde at the Hillsboro hospital. She was baptized in the Christian faith on June 21, 1931, and confirmed July 8, 1945, both at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.     Carmen J. Koltermann, 62, of Norwalk, died Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Serenity House in Tomah.

    She was born on March 4, 1952, to Clarence and Norma (Roberts) Lane. She grew up in Sparta and Farmers Valley.

    Carmen married David L. Koltermann in 1970 in Sparta. They lived in Sparta and moved to Norwalk in 1979.

    Carmen worked at Mayo Clinic Health System in Sparta for 33 years.

    Verne was born Oct. 12, 1932, on the family farm in the town of Wellington, Monroe County, Wis., to Hugo and Clara (Radke) Arndt. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wilton. He was a 1950 graduate of Wilton High School. Verne served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956.
